Guang Wang is an assistant professor of the Department of Computer Science at Florida State University. He was a postdoctoral researcher at MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society, and he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University. Guang is interested in finding meaningful patterns from large-scale data based on data-driven modeling and then designing socially informed decision-making algorithms to address some real-world societal challenges related to Fairness, Equity, Accessibility, Security, Privacy, etc. Currently, his research is mainly focusing on Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber-Physical Systems, and Human-Centered Computing, especially for applications on Human Mobility, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Smart&Connected Communities, and On-Demand Economy.
