Benham Shadravan

Dr. Behnam Shadravan is an Associate Professor in the Division of Engineering Technology under the School of Architecture and Engineering Technology (SAET) at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU). He serves as the Program Area Coordinator for the Construction Engineering Technology program. He earned his Bachelor's and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology and a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa, Canada.

Scott Pickett

Dr. Scott M. Pickett, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Florida State University College of Medicine, Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine, Center for Translational Behavioral Science. He earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a graduate certificate in LGBT Studies, from Northern Illinois University where he was a National Institute of Mental Health Pre-doctoral Fellow at the Center for the Study of Family Violence and Sexual Assault.

Guang Wang

Guang Wang is an assistant professor of the Department of Computer Science at Florida State University. He was a postdoctoral researcher at MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society, and he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.

Meghan Mick

Meghan Mick is an Assistant Professor at Florida State University with a diverse background in design practice. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Vanderbilt University, she worked in graphic design at a large advertising agency in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her interest in natural science and love of design led her to graduate school at the College of Design at NC State University for a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

Dennis Smith

Dennis J. Smith, Growth Management Coordinator for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), was named DURP’s new Planner-in-Residence in July 2017. Prior to joining FDOT, he spent 12 years in the private sector managing disaster recovery and emergency planning projects nationwide. Before that, he was the disaster recovery program administrator for the Florida Department of Emergency Management.

Satyanarayan Dev

Dr. Satyanarayan Dev is an Associate Professor in the Biological Systems Engineering Program at the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences in Florida A&M University (FAMU)and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the FAMU_FSU Joint College of Engineering. He has an interdisciplinary background in biological engineering, food science, microbiology, and food engineering. His research interests are in the areas of Agtech, bioenergy, food safety, pathogen detection, nutraceuticals and functional foods.

Sunny Narayanan

Dr. Anand “Sunny” Narayanan is currently a Research Professor at Florida A&M University - Florida State University (FAMU-FSU). He holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in Medical and Space Physiology, and B.S. degrees from West Virginia University in Mechanical Engineering and Biology, with an emphasis in nanotechnology.

Tian Tang

Dr. Tian Tang is an assistant professor in the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy. Her research is at the intersection of environmental and energy policy, technology policy, and policy implementation through cross-sectoral collaboration in the context of global climate change and sustainability. She teaches policy analysis, research methods, and public financial management. Tian received her Ph.D. in public administration from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
