Tian Tang
Dr. Tian Tang is an assistant professor in the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy. Her research is at the intersection of environmental and energy policy, technology policy, and policy implementation through cross-sectoral collaboration in the context of global climate change and sustainability. She teaches policy analysis, research methods, and public financial management. Tian received her Ph.D. in public administration from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. She was a Giorgio Ruffolo Doctoral Research Fellow in the Sustainability Science Program at Harvard Kennedy School, where she worked on research projects regarding renewable energy technology innovation and diffusion in China and US. Before coming to the US, she also had consulting experience in emergency management and low-carbon development for different levels of Chinese government.
