Yassir Abdelrazig is a professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Florida A&M University – Florida State University College of Engineering. He joined the college after earning a doctorate degree from Purdue University in 1999. His areas of research include construction engineering and management, resilient and sustainable infrastructure, and computer applications construction. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in construction engineering and transportation engineering. He has published more than 60 publications and has completed sponsored research projects of more than $1.5 million. He is a faculty senator at the University Faculty Senate. He is a member of the Construction Research Council (CRC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and several national committees such as Transportation Research Board Committees. He is a reviewer for the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DOD) and several scientific journals and book publishers.
