Roshan Panahi, Post-Doctoral Scholar - Dr. Roshan Panahi is a Post-Doctoral Scholar in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. Dr. Panahi is passionate about how automated and efficient collection, storage, retrieval, and communication of data can improve the construction industry. In his current research, he has expanded his work into the demolition phase and post-disaster recovery, which face significant operational and environmental challenges. His research draws on his prior industry experience and integrates various engineering and scientific methods, including simulation, artificial intelligence, optimization, and statistical analysis. Dr. Panahi is also passionate about mentorship efforts, helping students develop their talents and prepare for future careers through research and entrepreneurial pathways.
